Meet Kelsey Streef, RVT, CCRP
Founder | Registered Veterinary Technician
As a Registered Veterinary Technician and entrepreneur, Kelsey Streef founded Willow Grove Animal Wellness Centre in 2019 with a vision to challenge traditional perspectives in veterinary care and redefine collaboration within the profession. Willow Grove was built around inter- and intra-professional access to care, offering an integrated model that supports pets through every stage of life.
Kelsey’s leadership extends well beyond Willow Grove. She served on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians, including three years as Vice President, where she advocated for RVT-led businesses, improved utilization of RVTs in clinical practice, and sustainable long-term careers in veterinary medicine. Since 2020, she has contributed to collaborative initiatives with both the College of Veterinarians of Ontario and the OAVT, consistently championing innovative, team-based care models.
In 2024, Kelsey joined Fanshawe College as a curriculum developer and later as a faculty member, supporting the education of future veterinary professionals. In 2025, she co-founded NuLeaf Veterinary Group, further expanding her commitment to accessible, wellness-focused veterinary care.
