How Our Therapy Services Work

Our therapy services are designed to support comfort, mobility, and overall wellbeing. They may be incorporated into a collaborative care plan and are delivered in collaboration with referring veterinarians and pet parents to ensure each service is appropriate for the recovery plan.

Integrative Care

Rehabilitation & Therapy Modalities

Available by veterinary referral only

The underwater treadmill uses buoyancy, hydrostatic pressure, and controlled movement to support mobility in water. Sessions are guided by licensed professionals and adjusted to each pet’s comfort level.

Underwater Treadmill

We use a variety of animal-specific tools and movement exercises to support balance, coordination, and controlled motion. Some activities may also be recommended as guided at-home exercises.

Therapeutic Exercises & Equipment

Assistive tools such as braces or mobility supports may be incorporated when appropriate. This includes elbow and stifle braces, as well as custom-fit wheelchairs. Our team works with external local partners to support proper fit and comfort.

Assistive Devices

Therapeutic modalities such as electrical muscle stimulation (E-Stim) and Class 3B laser may be used as part of a broader rehabilitation approach to support circulation and tissue comfort, and are only performed by licensed professionals.

Integrative Care

Chiropractic services focus on supporting mobility, comfort, and overall function through gentle, manual manipulation. Care is provided by a Doctor of chiropractic with continued education in animal spinal manipulation, and may be incorporated into a wellness or rehabilitation plan when appropriate.

Chiropractic Care

Massage therapy supports relaxation, muscle comfort, and overall wellbeing through hands-on techniques tailored to each pet. This service may be used for general wellness support or alongside other therapy services.

Animal Massage Therapy

Swimming services are offered in a controlled, supportive environment and may be appropriate for conditioning or general wellness support.

Solo Swim

  • Swim test: $20 + HST

  • 20 minutes: $20 + HST

  • 30 minutes: $30 + HST

  • 45 minutes: $45 + HST

  • 60 minutes: $60 + HST

Guided Swim

  • 20 minutes: $30 + HST

  • 30 minutes: $45 + HST

  • 45 minutes: $60 + HST

  • 60 minutes: $75 + HST

Willow Grove Animal Wellness Centre provides supportive, wellness-focused services and does not offer diagnostic or prescribing care. Rehabilitation is delivered in collaboration with referring veterinarians and in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
